Glenn Photography is me: Greg Glenn. I am a 24 year-old engineer
who happens to do a lot of concert photography.
I began shooting concerts when I helped start the punk cable
TV show, "Hall Riot", at UCLA in 2000. The show aired
once a week and consisted of band interviews, CD reviews, and
live concert footage. In order to supplement the program, I took
photos at the concerts we attended to post on the TV show's website.
I had more fun putting together episodes of that program than
just about everything else I did at school but the whole process
was very time consuming. In the end, "Hall Riot" ran
for a little under 3 seasons and due to the whole "school
thing", we decided to call it quits and subsequently save
our academic careers.
After being a spectator at shows for a year or two, I helped
launch Synergy Magazine (www.synergymag.com)
in January of 2004. Synergy is a UCLA based website that is dedicated
to helping people find new music through our reviews of concerts,
albums, and interviews.
6 years of shooting and 3 cameras later, I have realized that
doing photography has become more than just a hobby of mine. My
expertise is in live concerts but I am available for any of your
projects. Email me at greg@glennphotography.com
